Green Credits are the lifeblood of Conservation VOICE. They represent voluntary donations and contributions made by Conservation Ambassadors to fuel our environmental initiatives. Alongside hosting fees and support from friends, Green Credits form the Conservation Pool Fund—the financial foundation that powers our programs. Each Green Credit is equivalent to the value of planting one tree, estimated at Ksh 150, and offsets approximately 0.07 tons of carbon dioxide per year. It is also equivalent to collecting 50kgs of plastic waste or feeding a family with 1kg of Unga. Green Credits are earned through referrals, purchase of tickets, product purchases, and more. The more ambassadors you invite, the more Green Credits you earn. These credits symbolize your commitment to restoring nature, reducing carbon emissions, and building resilient communities.
Yes, in appreciation of your generosity, Conservation VOICE allows you to redeem Green Credits for eligibility to apply for various sponsorship opportunities, bursaries, event entries, or trainings. While redeeming or purchasing Green Credits does not guarantee selection or funding, it demonstrates commitment and increases your vetting advantage in the application process. Redemption is done by selecting your Entry Level during registration, event or sponsorship application.
